Grant Marshall is a Canadian ice hockey right winger who currently plays for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League. Grant was drafted into the NHL by the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was drafted 23rd overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Marshall has played 624 career NHL games, scoring 84 goals and 130 assists for a total of 214 points.
On December 4, 1990, Marshall was checked into boards from behind in a game against Sudbury Wolves. He suffered temporary paralysis, but made a full recovery to play in the NHL. His story is very inspiring as he was told he would never play again.
Currently Grant is married. His wife’s name is Jennifer. The couple have one daughter, two-year-old Sophia. Grant & his family spend the off season at Prince Edward Island in Canada.
