Kevin Butler

Biography: Born in Manhattan and raised

in the Bronx,NYC. Kevin Butler began his career in show business as a comic/character actor and mimic in repetory theater. For two seasons in the late 1970's..he performed with"The Great Salt Of The Earth Theater Co."in Greenwich Village. Where he appeared in plays that ranged from light farce to philosphical drama. Following his stint with "The Great Salt Of The Earth Theater Co.".He spent the 1980's performing in summer stock theater. From 1981 to 1989,he appeared in several plays and two musicals that ultilized his talents as a comic/character actor/mimic and singer. For a time..he tried his hand at being a nightclub comedian and part of a street clown act with "Barbo The Clown"(Bob Perkins). Paul Butler on his children's radio series:
"The Imagination Parade!" as an comic/character actor/storyteller/scripwriter and co-producer. Kevin didn't make his tv debut..until the fall of 2003. When he joined forces with tv producer: Burt Dubrow and tv puppeteer:Paul Fusco as the bumbling sidewalk reporter on the pilot for"Alf's Hit Talk Show!". For a few days..he taped interviews with people on the streets of Hollywood,Ca. and showed the funny side of the human condition. Mr.Butler has also contributed research material for Soupy Sales Memiors"Soupy Sez: My Life And Zany Times!",for "Hi There:Boys & Girls",Alabama Based kids tv historian Tim Hollis' tribute to local kids tv shows and "Dummy Days". A collection of biographies of tv ventriloquists:Shari Lewis,Paul Winchell And Jimmy Nelson.The latter book was written by Dreamworks exec:Kelly Asbury. Kevin S.Butler the entertainer should not be confused with the former football great.
