Peter Hyams
Biography: A television newscaster in the 1960s, Hyams began writing and directing both television and theatrical films in the early '70s. He has shown himself to be equally adept at actioners (Capricorn One, The Star Chamber), romantic dramas (Our Time, Hanover Street), and science fiction (Outland, 2010).
