Worth a play… even if it’s just to experience the outrageously frightening “Haunted House” section towards the end of the game. Meanwhile, first timers to the town of Silent Hill will reap much reward and lots of scares in the process.- Absolute Playstation

It’s a nice looking game and the controls are smooth. WU also offers more than any other game of its genre. The learning curve is pretty short making it versatile for all ages, both in single and two player modes.- Absolute Playstation

I wouldn’t say it is the best FPS available for the PS2 right now, but it is certainly in the top three and quite an enjoyable experience from start to finish.- Absolute Playstation

Codies made too many changes from CMR2 (the front end and in-service menus) and not enough (the graphics!) at the same time.- Absolute Playstation

Seemed kind of weird at first, being that this character is such an “in your face” type of fighter, but the whole stealth thing works and ends up creating a whole new facet to the gameplay.- Absolute Playstation

With so many options, Quick Play to a Home Run Derby to a Season, you can play all day and not use the same player or combination twice. The graphics are superb and the movements of each of the players are fluid and clean.- Absolute Playstation

I would say, if you don’t presently own MGS or MGS2, this would be a good investment.- Absolute Playstation

A real beauty in gameplay, graphics and sound. I cannot imagine any Tenchu fan out there not being overjoyed with the overall experience this game has to offer.- Absolute Playstation

If you are a true YU-GI-OH fan, into the trading card thing, and have a decent understanding of the YU-GI-OH card’s powers, yada yada, you will probably love this FIRST EVER YU-GI-OH PS2 videogame.- Absolute Playstation

The gameplay is fluid and clean. The players resemble their real-life counterparts as well as act like them. This game has all the features of a true soccer match.- Absolute Playstation

A nice change of pace for fighting games. Only downside we see is the number of combos you would have to memorize, but that would all come in time and repetition of gameplay.- Absolute Playstation

The real icing on the cake here though is the incredibly flexible track editor that comes with the game. Not only is extremely complete and fully functional, it is also very easy to use and administer.- Absolute Playstation

This game is tougher than you would think. It’s not a mindless game of casting and bringing in fish after fish. You need to carefully plan a course of attack.- Absolute Playstation

Even the cockney pedestrians fail to hold back the punches with gems such as “Oi, get off the road you fu**in’ w**ker!” It all adds up to a game that rolls along at the speed of a Guy Ritchie movie (minus the humour) with a couple of "Reservoir Dogs" torture scenes added for good measure.- Absolute Playstation

It’s all great fun for the first few days and highly addictive but then you gradually slip away from the game and get on with real life. Just remember this… a dolls house is for playing with, but a Sim is for life!- Absolute Playstation

There is much less blood and gore in this game than is usually seen in games of this nature and those looking for a game with a story line with not all of the killing will find this game a welcome change.- Absolute Playstation

This game either pushes the boundaries of it's genre further than ever before on this system, or creates a completely new gaming experience. Either way, it should not be missed.- Absolute Playstation

Every level has to be earned…every damn level…but there is also a distinct feeling of accomplishment that comes with this type of challenge and I certainly welcomed it every step of the way.- Absolute Playstation

The fighting is as brutal as ever; perhaps even more so with the power of the PS2 behind it...but the fun is still retained.- Absolute Playstation

It suited my short passing style (didn’t much fancy 2002 tho) and there were just a few niggles with the gameplay that left you feeling this could have been better.- Absolute Playstation

May not be one of the longest lived, gameplay-wise; it may not offer the most sophisticated or mature battles but it is certainly one of the more visually accomplished games to have been developed recently.- Absolute Playstation

Worst of all is the control system. It may be understandable that the most difficult combos will only ever be pulled off by a genius (or accidentally by an epileptic), but even the simple commands prove sluggish.- Absolute Playstation

While SmackDown is still quite a long way from matching the visual peaks reached by other highly popular fighting series (Tekken, DOA, Soul Blade…), there have been massive strides in the right direction with this fourth instalment from the THQ/Yule team.- Absolute Playstation
