From what we’ve seen the show’s commitment to smart, engaged, and challenging storytelling has yet to falter. There are sequences that will make you ask questions. Although Fring’s first arrival is, unshockingly, a muted one, the sight of Giancarlo Esposito as a fast-food manager may nevertheless dislodge a few tense memories in the Breaking Bad fan’s brain. Remember the careful way he assembled his fish stew? Remember the precise manner he used to cut an underling’s throat? What a fitting addition to the Saul story: a devil who works in details. 'Better Call Saul' continues to dig deeper into its characters and close in on Breaking Bad at an excellent pace. We can see Gilligan's love for this story all the way through the first episode.

Better Call Saul is in the running for 'Best Show on TV' after this season in my opinion. The conclusion to this season is a great one and has left the floor open for season 4 to deal with the repercussions. It is not often that we come across scripts as well constructed as the script of Better Call Saul. Phenomenal! This season is an anxious explosion. Further deterioration of the McGill brothers relationship has stunning consequences as Chuck vendetta pushes his loving brother to the edge. McKean performance in "chicanery " is career making(which says alot in a show stacked with his)thePhenomenal! This season is an anxious explosion. Kim takes a sharp edged turn as she advances in her career almost losing her life in her bid to have it all. This is what t.v. aims to be:continuously exciting ,unpredictable and difficult. Not a single character is easy to root for or understand, unfurling unexpectedly in uncharacteristic directions but these turns are reasonable and once passed can be seen hinted to. Slow burn for sure, but the quality of the script and storyline is difficult to fault, so I won't bother. The acting is still a bit stiff, for a few of the participants, but works, so again, why single anybody out. Absolute genius. Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are firing on all cylinders and I cannot believe that they can maintain this level of quality.

Show is extremely slow and the characters are not interesting. I've given up. Breaking Bad was great but this is far from great and is actually painful to watch.
