While Bill Nye Saves the World is a relatively modest enterprise by Netflix's standards, it is, overall, an admirable addition to its lineup. If it's not quite a rescue mission, Nye appears to have taken to heart the concept of trying to provide a small beacon of light rather than just cursing the darkness. Read full review

Bill Nye Saves the World is just not that entertaining a show all-around. While the format is geared to adults, the content is too simple to be of interest to them. For kids who might try to watch, all the talking heads will be a bore. Read full review

This show is good. While, as other people have mentioned, the tone is a bit confused, I think it will really take off once they make get to know their audience.

Bill presents scientific fact in this show, not opinions. It's sad to see that many people take it as "opinions", and even sadder that the tone of show is very, "OMG people, these are the facts." The result is a show that feels very cult like, if you are in his same mind set, you just nod inBill presents scientific fact in this show, not opinions. No data. No demonstrations. No science. This show tries so hard to pander to an image of young people as imagined by 60 year old rich men. Bill is just downright mean and bitter, and all of the humor falls incredibly flat. Imagine "Real Time with Bill Maher," except less funny, less inNo data. No demonstrations. No science. Horrible, this is nothing more than a political talk show, and one that is veery hostile towards any ideas that Nye doesn't agree with. Oh but you can say he's wrong about his politics cuz then you are disagreeing with sci, nice defense Bill

Short on science, long on a smug/arrogant Bill Nye trying too hard to seem cool to millennials. The only people that will like this show are those that just like to feel good about being smarter than other people without actually having to think. So, the Bill Nye types I guess.

I had high hopes for this show, but I was incredibly disappointed. There was little to no science on the show, little to no evidence provided for anything, and little to no studies cited. In the opening sequence Bill Nye claimed it was a show for adults, yet it seems like it is aimed for little kids. At the same time, some of the topics are way too old for little kids. So little information is provided, this show will do no good for people who know even a little on the topics. Everyone who disagrees with him is mocked, and any viewer who disagrees with him would immediately be turned off. As such, there seems to be no target audience. I can't think of a single demographic this could be aimed at.… Expand
