Though the show takes the dancers' work at least as seriously as it takes their relationships, you won't need to know a plié from a pirouette to appreciate the drama, and yes, the touch of class, in Breaking Pointe. Read full review

Interesting on many levels and dispells at least two of the main stereotypes about ballet - one that the whole thing is just silly frou-frou and the second that all male dancers are gay. Not bad at all for a reality show. I think the fact that it's set in Salt Lake City instead of, let's say, Manhattan, helps you focus more on the company and less on the salacious nightlife of the individual dancers. I happened upon this show, not really wanting to pick up another summerNot bad at all for a reality show.
