Top Cast
Although the individual characterizations and performances aren’t especially inspired, there’s still a genuinely heartwarming family dynamic at play throughout the season. The Robinsons play off each other’s strengths well and their teamwork and inexhaustible supply of ingenuity makes for plenty of feel-good fun, even if never shakes that feeling of familiarity.
There is some forward momentum with the overarching plot about how humanity’s last stand is built on stolen alien technology, but not enough to make the new season look like something more than a smoother series launch. You won’t get lost in Lost In Space, but the family-friendly adventures of the Robinsons will still make for solid viewing over the holiday break.

Simply one of the best sci-fi serie I've seen the last 5 years with my family. Netflix has done here what Disney should have done with SW. A lot of criticism, especially around woke agenda, etc but to be honest It did not disturb me at all here (versus all the latest crappy Dark Fate, Charlie's angels, etc). In fact, I specially like the Dr Smith femail character (I hate it, but that's the goal) and I like the female characters in that serie. I have personally no forced feelings. Anyway, look at it simply for fun. Superb visuals, perfect cgi, consistant scenario, etc. Simply excellent.

SEASON 2
My wife and I love watching this series. It's not perfect and it's a little cheesy here and there, but it has heart, even if they hit you over the head with it sometimes. It has enough bang for our buck for a sci-fi show to make us want to binge it. I really hope there's more seasons!
Oh and the amount of times I heard characters talking about how the Robinsons are pretty much Mary Sues needs to stop. We can see that and it's ok, just don't tell us.

SEASON 2
The visuals are amazing, everything looks polished. there's a lot of potential but most of it is wasted. There is a lot of plot holes, things just don't make sense. whoever was in charge of the overall story must have constantly been telling people not to worry about things and to just go with it. anyone who has a thing for sci-fi and actually knows about space, space travel, physics, the flow of time etc is going to have a hard time watching this without being bothered
The second last episode of the season moves really fast, ends with a really incredible cliffhanger... Just to fast forward and skip all the good parts in the season finale. They wanted to have their cake and eat it too, they wanted to have an awesome climax but they didn't want to pay for any of the visual effects and anything else that would be required to pull it off. so just like they do with the rest of the story, they make things happen that make no sense.

More of the same, the visuals are really cool and it’s basically ‘this is us’ in space with some good emotional moments. The generic characters, you know where the main characters do everything/know everything and everyone else just gets in the way gets repetitive and is very limiting.

@Iann22: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a sexist. I don't think there's a problem with the men being saved by the women for a change. For a long time, it has always been the other way around in movies and TV. The rest of the show is nice but forgettable (like literally, you probably won't remember much of it after a few days). Very solid in many areas -- good actors, effects and visuals -- but neither very thrilling nor profound or affecting.
