I've been watching the show since the first season and i have to acknowledge the second is even better. The mythical drama between Lucifer and his family, and other supernatural entities, is what got me hooked and I hope it develops in that direction even more (just to have an originalI've been watching the show since the first season and i have to acknowledge the second is even better. The mythical drama between Lucifer and his family, and other supernatural entities, is what got me hooked and I hope it develops in that direction even more (just to have an original flavor as a crime series and to drift away from The Mentalist)

I wish this series becomes what Supernatural have never been (its story became too much confusing and nonsensical)

Also, I hope they remember there are men watching this series, not only women. I just say it because sometimes you make the male characters look far more stupid than they should.… Expand

The second season of Lucifer outdid its self and totally topped season 1, season 1 I loved and thought it was a 10 out of 10 and an A+ but season 2 I loved even more and it is still one of my favorite shows of all time. Tom Ellis's performance as Lucifer is just astounding and he just keeps giving a hilarious and charming performance this is also a really emotionally powerful and deep performance. The supporting performances from Tricia Helfer, Lauren German, Aimee Garcia, Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Lindsey Gort, Kevin Alejandro, and Michael Imperioli were phenomenal. Lucifer's character development was exceptional they really continued to turn him into a much more emotionally aware and emotionally deep character this season that is still very tough and cool and they just continue to expand on his complexity and many layers, the character development of Chloe (we really got to see who Chole really is this season, we got to see into her background and what makes her herself) and Maze (Maze became a much more emotional deep and complex character) was also stupendous this season. The chemistry between Tom Ellis and Lauren German continues to be remarkable they just play off of each other perfectly and they just make it seem that they have a genuine romantic and emotional connection. The writing was outstanding. The costumes were superb especially on Lesley-Ann Brandt, Tom Ellis, Tricia Helfer, Lindsey Gort, D.B. Woodside, Michael Imperioli, and Lauren German. The makeup and hairstyling was excellent especially on Lesley-Ann Brandt, Tricia Helfer, Lindsey Gort, Lauren German, Aimee Garcia, and Rachael Harris. The visual effects were spectacular especially when Maze shows herself as a demon and when Lucifer shows himself as the devil and Lucifer's wings. The music choices just fit perfectly, they are great. This second season was an A+… Expand

SEASON 02: When I watched the first season when it was originally aired, it had some serious fan following, but I won't say it was very very famous at the time. Now, after the second season, seems everything has changed. Drastically the votings,The family of immortal on the Earth.

When I watched the first season when it was originally aired, it had some serious fan following, but I won't say it was very very famous at the time. Now, after the second season, seems everything has changed. Drastically the votings, rating, reviews have increased. IF one more season with similarly powerful characters, story comes out, then it surely would be among the greatest like 'Dexter', 'Breaking Bad' et cetera. I am confident it will go up to the seventh to set up a perfect finale in the next half decade.

I did not review the first season, because I was not sure it would get better in the following season. I thought it was a one season thing. Now I'm here with awesome progression in the second season. I loved every episode. I've rated a few of them are out of out as they are well deserved. Firstly, for this to get better was the characters. A couple of new ones added. Not some sidekicks, but yes, they were with a stronger hold in the main narration.

I loved Charlotte, the Lucifer's mother. That's the best thing happened here. Particularly the casting for it was the best pick. Tricia Helfer was like never seen before hot. The way the season ended was sad, if you had loved her. I hope she returns none other than as Charlotte in the future. Aimee Garcia was another highlitable cast. Her inclusion makes the crime fighting more interesting. She's a mini Dexter, without the dark desires.

Each episode was unique, but the overall story flow was excellent, unlike the previous season where each episode has one crime to solve. Here too with the same style, but some time extended further for the next part. There was an aim for story to head, but the way it was presented was good. Shared it all throughout the season, while each episode had its own agenda. Lots of humours, as well as actions, adventures, suspense and a bit romantic.

So, if you haven't started, it's time to do so, because as I said it will be one of the best television programme on making that you should not miss while you have chance to follow from the beginning itself. All the actors were great, a well written and shot series. The season's finale and its final scene created more curiosity in me going to the third. I'm hoping for another magnificent season, which is due in a couple of months at the end of the year (2017). Highly recommended!

Lucifer gives an insight to the conflicts deities have with each other. Every group of gods had their tales of internal struggles. In this tale, Lucifer Morningstar, plays a insufferable super egotistical loudmouth, who has to deal with other deities popping up from time to time. In this tale, Lucifer Morningstar, plays a insufferable super egotistical loudmouth, who has to deal with other deities popping up from time to time. A true "fish out of water comedy." He does not fit into humanity, and humanity does not fit into the infinite realm of these deities. This is about 80% comedy, 10 % drama, and 10% wonder. The 10% wonder is what sets the show apart from the run of the mill comedy. The writers are pulling the rabbit of the hat each episode, with some twist that keeps you guessing until the next episode airs. It is refreshing to have a sitcom based on something more than neighbors trying to get along. It is not a 10. The dialog needs to upgraded though. Scoffs, should be replaced by quips like, "thou shalt not lie to Satan," or " I jive thee not."… Expand

I watch a ton of series but it takes a lot to get me to watch a tv show religiously (see what i did there) especially when the subject material (religious stuff) is something that at a glance does not remotely interesting but I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Season 1 was good but the over arching story was sort of in the background to episode by episode cop duo stories.

However season 2 is a huge improvement and in my opinion one of the best and most underrated shows on television. The acting is great, its funny when it needs to be and does a good job of it, its serious and emotional when it matters and does a good job of it. The acting and casting is superb, the story especially in season 2 is amazing, the soundtrack is great and well selected fitting with the particular scenes tone perfectly and enhancing the overall impact.

Do yourself a favour and give it a watch, its simply that good.… Expand

The audience is suppose to believe that superhot Tricia Helfer is Lucifer's 'Mum"? Come on ! But then again we are talking about a show where the Devil helps a cop solve murders. This show is so weird that it actually makes people watch it just to see what other bizarre things will happen.
