I dont understand how people can choose to watch a drama series and then complain that it made them feel emotions.
This show perfectly achieved what it was written to do. Its a wild ride and i was on edge the whole time, that is not a badI dont understand how people can choose to watch a drama series and then complain that it made them feel emotions.

This show is a breath of fresh air, ive been a career chef for many years and if i hadn't gone out of the industry it would have definitely been hard to watch. It is so real, recognisable and brings me right back. Its obvious a set of very passionate people were involved in creating this. The second to last episode is a cinematographic masterpiece recorded in one shot without any edits. If your kid, friend or family member ever wants to consider a culinary career, sit them down and make them watch this first.… Expand

The most realistic portrayal of life in a kitchen I’ve seen outside of, you know, a kitchen. It shows the stress, the passion, and the crazy you see every day in food service.

The show is good, there are great representations of real life in this show and good actors with believable emotions. I am only rating it a 7 because of the forced premise narrative of this negative perspective...they work in a restaurant,The show is good, there are great representations of real life in this show and good actors with believable emotions. The subsequent ones delve a bit into his character's issues, but it's still a downer. The only bright spot comes from the sweet, yet frustrated character created by Aye Edebiri, as the new trainee. Things may get better in future shows, but the destructive energy is so toxic that it left a bad taste in my mouth. (Review based on 3 of 8 one-hour eps).… Expand

This show is pure anxiety and stress. I get enough anxiety in real life, so I don't need 100% anxiety in my entertainment too. Now, this is how you portray anxiety and stress. 'The Bear' is an intense experience that portrays the reality of a popular restaurant. The editing, the acting, and the story are top-notch.
