Watch lots of tv and this is great. Great effects, great story. For at least once Metacritic critics are wrong. Story is not hard to follow at all. It’s a fun ride. a great escape from dog days of August. Enjoy!

Perfect adaptation. Perfect. More than thirty years waiting for this and it has surpassed all my expectations. We need the second season soon, please.

I was initially sceptical that some of the elements wouldn’t translate well to live-action but was quickly put to bed by the fantastic performances by the entire cast. Everyone pulls their weight here. Sets a new record for race swapping characters from the source material. If you're a villain you get to stay white though, obviously. Loses a lot in translation from book to screen.

Johanna Constantine, a lesbian witch... Really? That's what the writers came up with and Gaiman agreed on it? Another tv show, made with total disregard to the original concept. A story used to push a narrative
This show was interesting for a couple of minutes until every episode dived deeper into shoveling a bunch of woke ideology down your throat. From what I've heard about the comic that inspired this show, it was fantastic and all the creators needed to do wasA story used to push a narrative
This show was interesting for a couple of minutes until every episode dived deeper into shoveling a bunch of woke ideology down your throat. From what I've heard about the comic that inspired this show, it was fantastic and all the creators needed to do was follow the comic script, however, this show is sadly just a twisted version of the comic to shove in as much wokeness as they can. Another Netflix show is ruined because is east of focusing on the actual story to entertain, they focused on what political ideas they wanted to push and forced the story to go in that direction. All and all, this show had so many problems that were added to it because the story was driven by political views rather than creativity.… Expand
