Bird Mania 3D is the most pleasant kind of surprise: simple, fun, addictive and inexpensive. Charmingly simple yet rewardingly versatile gameplay overcomes any concerns we might have had. For a fast and fun score attack game, you really can't do any better.

It's not quite original or addictive enough to compete with the best in the casual genre, but this is a polished and fun enough game that's unlikely to be a purchase you regret. [July 2012, p.107]

Not quite the Angry Birds clone that some may believe at first glance, and it isn't without issues, but for the asking price Bird Mania 3D fundamentally holds true to what cheaper quick-burst games need to be to succeed; fun, inimitable, and packing in that 'one more go' factor.

There simply isn't enough to do, especially for a 3DS game. Throw in poor dialogue and barely evident stereoscopic 3D effects, and Bird Mania 3D just isn't worth your time.

Extremely addictive game, You can't stop , So much fun, the 3D doesn't hurt your eyes, even at full, and it is surprisingly cheap! Although it could be improved, for £1.80 It's amazing! Expand

Only a person with poor taste would think of this like a bad game. This game is 2deep4u, if you hate this game you should simply go back to playing Call of Duty Modern Ops Electric bugaloo 6 Expand

A nice simple little game offered at a very reasonable price, especially for the eShop. It isn't very high in content but the steady learning curve means that replaying is necessary to improve to beat your own or friend's scores; though they would have to play it on your 3DS as unfortunately there are no online leaderboards.

This is the type of game you would get for a dollar or two cheaper on iOS/Android but being the eShop Nintendo just wouldn't tolerate such a good deal. If you don't have a smartphone this may be a nice alternative for a similar experience but if you're after something more from the eShop you'll have to spend a little more; but it will probably be worth it as there are some nice 3DSware out there.
