It's not perfect and I'd liked to have seen more competent AI, but I found my time in the B-DaWorld to be spent well and I look forward to returning there ... in about ten minutes.
Harkening back to when simple games and concepts entertained us all, Battle B-Damam reinvents the classic marble games of yore with mixed results.
Despite being a part of a product-tie-in-machine, Battle B Daman does offer an above-average gameplay experience that makes it a worthy stand-alone game. [Sep 2006, p.85]
There are still some awesome battles, and the customization is pretty strong, but the overarching gameplay will draw thin eventually, and when it does, be it after a few dozen or a few hundred face-offs, there's nothing more to see.
Battle B-Daman fails to capture the fun, dynamic nature of the tabletop game it's based on.
