A good game show comes down to a handful of things; a good way of equalizing all players regardless of skill (but still allowing those that are most knowledgeable to have some advantage), good question variety, engaging modes or rounds and a presentation that wraps it all up. Buzz! has all of these in spades.
Trivia isn't for everyone, but this game is well executed, and I would like to see them tackle some other genres.
If you're looking for a fun party game for PS2 and you haven't made the leap to HD, Buzz! The Mega Quiz is a great time-waster for you and your friends.
Not as educational as the upcoming "Buzz! Schools," but Mega is a packet of guaranteed rainy-day entertainment. [Apr 2007, p.90]

It's not going to set the hardcore world on fire, but it's a nearly perfect party game, and there's room for that in this world.
