Falls squarely in the middle. It offers gamers two discs of entertainment that's not original, not half bad.
A textbook-example survival-horror adventure that goes straight for the jugular.
If survival horror games went out clubbing together, Countdown Vampires would be the one getting asked, "So, who's your friend?"
It is, in just about every way you can think of, a poor man's "Resident Evil," to the point that it even shares "Resident Evil's" lingering fundamental design flaws.
The game is flawed on so many levels that only the most dedicated survival-horror fan might get some enjoyment out of it.
Dull and uninteresting to play.
