Of course, "Hot Shots Golf 3" is still the definitive “everyone’s game” that appeals to all skill levels, but parents looking for something to play with young kids can’t go wrong with Disney Golf.
The graphics are excellent, the sound track is wonderful and the game play is good enough to make this a treat to play.
What's more surprising, given the kiddie theme, is the amount of strategy. [Oct 2002, p.142]

Too bad the ultra-colorful saccharine graphics, marching band music, lack of difficulty and three-click arcade set-up reduce Disney Golf’s appeal for those of us that were never enchanted by the Magic Kingdom.
The problem here though is that it doesn't take full use of its Disney license, and it's an average golf game at best.
After a few day's play, a good-old fashion family fight and a uppercut to the chin becomes more and more appealing.
