DJ Rivals is one of a kind: A well-produced, massively-multiplayer, location-based rhythm game.
The great combat mechanic is largely overshadowed by repetitive play and the lack of any real incentive to push forward.
This is a standard Facebook game in iOS' clothing that ambitiously tries to make use of the iPhone without ever really doing anything at all.
Repetitive action and a largely vacuous storyline do nothing to disguise the fact that DJ Rivals is essentially an advert for its Facebook-based big brother Nightclub City.
