  • Summary: Lost in Blue 3 marks the return of the original "survival adventure" game for the Nintendo DS. Guide one of four playable characters, each with their own hidden past and unique strengths, through exotic locales on a mysterious island while surviving the elements to stay alive. Work alone or cooperatively with other characters to gather food, explore the island, and hunt dangerous wildlife. Use a character’s abilities to dictate which path you’ll take to uncover the mysteries of the island and ultimately engineer your escape. [Konami] Expand

If you've never played Lost in Blue 3 or any game like it, you ought to give it a try.
  2. If you played a previous Lost in Blue and just couldn’t get enough, this will certainly satisfy your craving. If you weren’t too into the last one, this entry is basically more of the same (and even a near-remake in most respects) with a few extra features thrown in, so you won’t be finding some revolutionary new direction for the series.
  3. The Lost in Blue series is still the most compelling and realistically punishing take on the excitement and hardships of survival on a desert island that videogames have to offer, even if it still has much room to improve.
  4. If it were not for having to spend so much of your valuable time doing everything for the other three people you’re saddled with Lost in Blue 3 could have been good. As it is Lost in Blue 3 is a very acquired taste and I’m not talking fancy recipes.

I hadn't played the other Lost in Blue games, but did enjoy this one enough to see it through. But after I had finished to the end with the first character I lost interest in trying to play with the other three to see their story lines. Maybe in a few more months I will pick it up again and try another character. Expand

The game was okay, but I found the game style repeated from the first 2.
