There are some noticeable flaws in the every department. For instance, in arcade mode there's one hard fighter and all the rest are fairly easy – I would have enjoyed more balance.
Casual fighting game fans may find the aciton to be slow. [Feb 2003, p.161]
The lacking controls and questionable hit detection kills off much the technical aspects of the fighting.
The environments are full of life.
The characters are not only woefully generic, but poorly drawn and animated.
