Etolis: Arena is fun because of its refined gameplay. It really feels like they play tested to make sure the controls work responsively and that the action is paced well.
More development and care would had made Etolis: Arena a great game. But alas, that was not to be.
Despite its flashy graphics and wealth of modes and weapons, Etolis:Arena fails to win us over due to awkward viewpoints and monotonous gameplay.
All I do know is that in its current form, Etolis Arena is on the lower end of the dual stick shooter spectrum.
Etolis: Arena is a weak twin-stick shooter that suffers thanks to numerous small flaws and odd design choices.
If you just can't live without some sort of sci-fi themed dual-stick shooter where you kill robots and there are different maps, it might be just the thing for you. But for my money, there are more exciting experiences available in this genre on the iOS platform.
Generic action, performance problems and a lack of direction thwart any chance of Etolis: Arena becoming a twin-stick classic.
