  1. There is really nothing wrong with the GBA rendition of the popular TV show but really nothing that jumps at you and screams "buy me" either.
  2. A game that shouln't have been as bad as it is. If you take away the frustration and boredom, this game might have worked.
  3. Whether you compete with your friends or play by yourself, you must watch all five of your rivals take turns, which accounts for a lot of downtime. [Jan 2005, p.139]
  4. If you play Fear Factor: Unleashed, you deserve to find forgiveness in the heart of no man. [Feb 2005, p.125]
  5. The game grasps at replay value by locking up the medium and hard difficulty levels, forcing you to win an easy game to unlock medium, and a medium game to unlock hard. Not that that's difficult or anything, it's just there. Besides that minor point, you'll almost inevitably be finished with this lackluster game before you have a chance to settle in.

A franchise marketing attempt gone bad. I played most of what the game had to offer in about 40 minutes, and when I finally sat down to beat the game, I was rewarded with an extra feature. Yes, that's right, this extra feature was an added difficulty level. Whoopee.
  7. Can I describe Fear Factor: Unleashed in one simple word? Sure I can: crap.

(Rolls eyes) wow now this is a surprise a GBA based on a show who knew it would have generic boring gameplay, and annoying multi-player and replay value is pretty much non-existint wow I thought it would be good I wanted to give it a 10. (In case you are stupid I knew this game would suck.) Expand

Sucks. That pretty much says it all.
