  1. The graphics in Herbie Fully Loaded aren't the best, and only allow you to view Herbie from the back. Lindsay Lohan only appears in what look like still photographs before each race.
  2. Nintendo Power

The overall game makes a lackluster effort at capturing the spirit of the film. [Aug 2005, p.85]
  3. It's not that Herbie is a bad game; it's just way too simple and way too short to hold your interest, and your money could be better spent on any of several other GBA games out there, racing or otherwise.
  4. 50
With eight race tracks in all, and only a couple of game modes to work through, you should be able to burn rubber through this cart in under an hour or two.
  5. A wholly average racing game. Besides the character of Herbie and Lindsey Lohan, there's not much going for this game.
  6. A mediocre powerup-driven racing game that has one mode of play disguised as three. The "Story" Mode, probably the least painful of the three, can be finished in under an hour of solid play.
  7. A subpar racing game. I had a somewhat fun time blazing through Story Mode, but with a lack of tracks, no real reason to play the other modes, and the fact that you'll get bored of it in less than an hour, it's hard to recommend this game.

Graphics were obviously the top priority when this game was being developed. The graphics are by far the BEST I have ever seen on the Game BoyGraphics were obviously the top priority when this game was being developed. The graphics are by far the BEST I have ever seen on the Game Boy Advance, but the gameplay takes a toll. It just isn't very fun. The AI is very difficult even on easy mode, and the power-ups are a mixed bag. The power ups show up as different colored stars, but you will have to remember what they do because the game doesn't even tell you. One of the "power-ups" actually makes your car go backwards! Overall this game isn't worth it. Though the graphics are stunning, the game itself is very boring. Expand
