This **** a hidden gem to an extent. Aside from reviews on GameSpot & IGN (who praise it as an 8) and some CallMeKevin videos, it is barely known, except among some millenial adults like me. It's basically an action adventure platformer in the veins of Zelda, Maximo and so on. Controls are weird but I think they generally make sense.
Check the pcgamingwiki to play it though as it's hell to set up on windows 7 and 10. Alternatively, emulate the PS2 version, though then lose the high framerates and some effects for some reason. But if you're curious, give it a shot. You can generally find ISOs preinstalled as you literally can't use the 16bit installer.
An awesome game. Another of the blast from the past types, and a game that was much along the lines of games like Ocarina of Time.
The story was very compelling, to an extent hardly matched by other games, while the game play was fun. Exploring the world across different times was amazing, and developing alongside the world, through skills, new relations, and so on, was very satisfying. It was a truly gratifying experience.
