The Last Driver is highly enjoyable for the first couple of hours of play. It just gets a little too stale too soon to be memorable enough. There's a nice idea within, it just needs more variety to be worth sticking around for.
A fun, if slightly repetitive, zombie-killing driving game with a Tyrannosaurus rex and UFO thrown in for good measure.
Fun and adrenaline are the main features of this universal app that relies on a great control –based on our reflexes– and a simple gameplay. It borrows from a lot of movies to create a somehow surprising setting, and if we don't need too many options, The Last Driver is indeed a good choice for whenever we feel like playing something random for a short time.
A dystopian Mad Max-esque race for survival with zombies and dinosaurs. Short game time, a lot of upgrades, and average control weigh this release down.
The Last Driver is a free game that is worth giving a go for a couple of hours. Too soon the missions start repeating, and the game becomes a chore. The lacklustre presentation also limits the longtime appeal. Download, smash some zombies to hearts delight, and delete.
It's far clumsier and less polished than the big-name endless-runners, yet it packs in considerably more variety through the dynamic environments.
