It might just be one of the best strategy games of 2001…one of the most refreshing, engaging games released in a long time. [Jan 2002, p.98]
The game is immensely fun, and incredibly innovative. It takes what is great about Monopoly and transfers it perfectly into the builder genre.
Deep Red took their time and reinvented both the "Sim City" model, the Monopoly board game, and created something that's bold, new, and still reminiscent of both sources.
A strong and innovative, and great-looking, real-time game of business management and city building.

An honest-to-god, deep, rewarding strategy game that is easy to play and fun to watch. They finally put the "Tycoon" name on something that deserves it.
A well-done program, and it presents a nice twist not only on the original Monopoly title, but on the economic sim genre as well.
