  1. The game is wonderfully scary, an absolute joy to look at, very hard to stop playing.
  2. A thoroughly absorbing title, complete with a suspenseful script, top-notch production values, the perfect balance of action and adventuring, puzzles that are intelligently integrated into the plot, and big dollops of atmosphere.
  3. The game itself is remarkably well put together. Graphics, sound and gameplay come together to create a terrifying yet intriguing experience. You'll be on edge of your seat and scared as you play even during "safe" areas, just because of previous experiences or the feeling that something is about to happen.
  4. 78
Certainly not the deepest title you'll ever play and the control system can be horribly frustrating, but the atmosphere makes it worth persevering with, especially if you liked the movie.
  5. Rustin Parr captures the spirit of the movie and makes for a compelling adventure game.
  6. This the most frightening game I’ve ever played. This is due to two factors: the light-sourcing and the sound.
  7. Call us big girls' blouses if you wish, but this one's scary. Alas, it's also flawed to buggery.

This is probably one of the best horror games that I've ever played. Graphically, it is excellent, containing real-time shadows, high quality textures and a lot cool effects, and we are talking about a game which was released in 2000! The performance is great (the only problems are some graphic bugs that are present when you play the game with new video cards, which make me unable to give it the perfect score, 8). The plot is very nice and intriguing, and sometimes deep. There are, especially at the start of the game, a lot of "scarejumps". The soundtracks are amazing, that are perfectly suited to the circumstances (there are even sounds in the installation of the game!). The gameplay is cool and fun, different from all mainstream videogames. This is a real horror game that makes you get fear. The only bad note about this game is that it is short (you can complete it in 3-5-11 hours).

    - Plot: 6.5; Tech (Graphics performance): 7.5; Gameplay: 6.5; Longevity: 5; Audio: 7. Avg.: 6.5 0.5 bonus score (innovative game). Rank: 7/10. Amazing game!
