Corruption 2029 holds its own. It is difficult to make a game like XCOM, as dozens of failed titles have proved, and this is the first one I played that manages to accurately reproduce Firaxis’ formula while adding its own share of interesting mechanics to it. Behind the pretty exterior and the amazing tactical gameplay, you’ll find a gem that’s definitely worth experiencing -- if you can stomach the relatively small scope and repeated maps. That really shouldn’t be a problem, though. After all, war never changes.
The fact is, the gameplay in Corruption is fun, and I enjoyed playing it. There aren’t enough challenging tactical games like this (as my thousands of hours in XCOM 2 can stand as evidence of). I commend The Bearded Ladies for knowing they had a cool idea when they saw it, and for focusing on polishing a single aspect of it- in this case the gameplay. And these are games, isn’t gameplay extremely important? Ultimately, Corruption is a tight, extremely playable tactical experience.

very good tactical game in real time, very similar has mutant year zero but in a more realistic universe

Чудова гра. Цікаве управління та бойова механіка. Перша гра яка варта уваги після XCOM 2(якщо Вас цікавить такий жанр). Гра дійсно затягує і варта уваги. Варто працювати в цьому напрямку. Графіка теж на високому рівні. Можливо ще є деякі питання по оптимізації, але думаю це питання можна буде допрацювати. Вдячний за новий досвід і відчуття! :)

Instead of having a cast of lovable or unlovable animals to play as you get faceless soldiers in a divided America. None of these units ever really seem to feel anything, and as a result, neither will you. It’s just a bit barren comparatively. It’s also very hard to shake the feeling that this is a testing ground for ideas they’d like to use in the sequel to Mutant Year Zero (Mutwont Year Zero), which explains the cheaper price tag but makes it feel a little more noncommittal as well. It’s still fun, and the battles are still good, but it has a really hard time getting its hooks into you and dragging you through the story.
Corruption 2029 is a competent tactical game that leaves you wishing it had spent just a little more time in development.
Corruption 2029 is a mix made of exploration in real time and turn based combat. It has some good ideas, but it is very repetitive due to the same maps and uninspired missions.
This low-cost successor to Mutant Year Zero is still quite fun, but I can truly recommend it only to hardcore fans of its predecessor. There are many better turn-based strategies.
The game does not offend, but also doesn´t inspire. If it had more original content, it would certainly receive a more positive feedback. Therefore, it is only an average game. [Issue#302]
The game is great. It's basically a remake of Mutant year Zero with a Sci-fi military vibe. I actually prefer it, very nice graphics, sound and stunning gameplay. I hope this game does well and gets some expansions and I don't think I'm a third of the way through yet. Oh yeah and it runs like butter, much better than mutant year zero.

- No posee looteo en el mapa mas que agarrar botiquines, granadas o tarjetas para torretas
- Los mismos 4 o 5 escenarios en los que tenes que volver a jugar una y otra vez
- Sin personalizacion de los personajes
- Sin upgradeo de armas.
- Sin tienda para comprar armas ni items.
Lo encontre super vacio y monotono. Es como jugar al mutant pero con un 15% de su contenido..

This was such a disappointment.
Mutant Year Zero was a great game, with a good story, memorable characters and an unique setting.
But Corruption 2029 is the opposite. No characters, a lame story and a generic futuristic setting.
Game-play is very similar to MYZ, but they managed to make it worst by not having enough silenced weapons. Since this game is so much focused in stealth, this is practically a game breaker.
