  1. It’s not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a very competent title that manages to hit more right notes than wrong ones.
  2. I was impressed with this game, it was easy to play, visually stimulating, sounds great, and was a ton of fun to play!
  3. It's incredibly good-looking and very LEGO-esque, and that's always a good thing. [May 2003, p.87]

The game's graphics engine is pretty solid and everything moves at a pretty quick pace. Add in the weapons and you've got quite an action-oriented racer. The game's major downside is that it doesn't control as well as it should.
  5. The background scenery is attractive, but the game's floaty vehicle physics significantly undermine the actual driving experience. [May 2003, p.70]
  6. If you're a fan of futuristic racers, there's probably nothing in Drome Racers to enjoy that you haven't already seen in a better game.
