  1. Brilliant, brilliant and brilliant. Everything the last game was plus everything you ever wanted. [PSM2]
  2. A surprisingly solid squad-based shooter that relies just as much on tactics as brute force.

It's rare that a game with average sound, graphics and an uncooperative control system can still be enjoyed for hours at a time anyway.
  4. This title would have been better if the design was more polished and the controls were more sophisticated.
  5. If Desert Storm 2 has one flaw, it's that there are only ten maps and these usually channel the player down avenues rather than provide ample playgrounds for strategic experimentation. [Nov 2003, p.100]
  6. Simply put DSII is your average squad shooter. There is nothing breathtaking about this game but it can provide you with some hours of enjoyment.
  7. Much of the disorder is unintentional. Like some half-assed high-school theater production, nothing works as it should and no one seems to be doing the right thing. [Dec 2003, p.202]

The differences between this second installment and the original are subtle, but they are welcome. Great, enjoyable, fun to play game. Great game. The graphics may not be stunning (even back then) but I didn't care about graphics while playing this game. Very tactical. EvenGreat game. My friends and I had a blast playing this game together. Short game however. Expand

A real swizz greedy developer rehashing an old worn out game.
