With exceptional action, puzzles and scripting as well as good graphics and minimal loading times Extermination is a great and imaginative new addition to the horror/survival genre that will teach even Resident Evil a few tricks and ranks as Sonys best PS2 game to date.
-
84Although it isnt the best game in the world, Extermination really strikes a chord in me for being such a good evolution of the horror adventure genre.
-
73It's mechanics and gameplay may annoy you, but if you liked John Carpenter's version of "The Thing," you should be able to buy into (and enjoy) the storyline.
-
40Survival horror veterans will be drawn to Extermination right up to the very end, but casual gamers might find this title hard to swallow because of its inconsistent presentation, low replay value and mediocre story.

JohnV.10I think this game is freakin awesome. I love the marine corps and that gave the game a huge boost. Great job to the creators.
