It plays well, runs smoothly, and heralds the kind of game play which will keep score-hounds coming back to it again and again.

This is exactly the kind of simple but hugely playable offering that the PlayStation Store was made for. [May 2007, p.93]

While all this mindless blasting is fun for a while, personally it became quite tedious in a very short time. [May 2007, p.67]
The high tempo action is matched by a fluid frame rate that does not seem to dip even during boss encounters. While it lacks the draw dropping visuals of many full price counterparts, for £3.49 (until 23 May) it is a fine start to the PlayStation Store and a refreshing pit stop to keep on your hard drive.
There are countless games of its genre that do it better, some of which are more than 20 years old, and its use of tilt functionality doesn't change that.
