  1. Excellent graphics, simple controls, no tilt and just a really fun game, Super Stardust HD is the must have game for PSN.
  2. Super Stardust HD takes an old genre and reinvents it in a way that gives us fond memories of past games along with delivering an intense and challenging game.
  3. Pure adrenalin rush. Shoot ‘em ups don’t come much better than this. [Aug 2007]
  4. In every other respect, Super Stardust HD is an absolute star, the jewel in the crown of the PlayStation Store and quite possibly the best purists' shooter to appear on console since the legendary Geometry Wars.

Addictively satisfying mechanics, great visuals and tactical yet simplistic design. In truth, and I say this as a heavy duty "Geometry Wars" player myself, Super Stardust HD is not only just as good as Bizarre Creation's it's in many ways better.
  6. A strong contender for one of our games of 2007. When you do finally get around to picking up a PlayStation 3, this should be your first online purchase.
  7. If you have room in your heart for yet another Robotron clone, Super Stardust HD is a good addition to this well-worn genre.

Awesome in 3D! The whole planet and all objects are in 3D and it looks superb, especially the asteroids and explosions. The 3D patch/update is free - you've gotta love that! The only catch: it's maxed at 720p (Sony's 3D requirement) but I'm sure would also have perfect 60fps in 1080p. With Sony granting an exception for GT5 with 1080p 3D let's hope they relax the rules a bit for other games with high frame rates too. Expand

So good. So inmersive. Just beautiful. It´s amazing and completely fun. It´s one of the best modern dual stick shooters. Yes it only got 5 Maps and a handful of enemies and a couple of weapons but you get so much out of it. Expand

This game is awesome. I put off buying it for the longest time because I expected it to be a bad attempt at geometry wars but it turns out it's even better. Also this is the only game I've tried so far that's worth playing in 3d, it still kills my eyes but it's really fun. Expand
