With an innovative robot customization feature not seen since Armored Core and a solid fighting engine to boot, this little game that could shows up swinging.
A lot better than we would have expected, but that's not saying that much.
That's the basic problem with this title; it is built on an outdated 3-D fighting engine. This leads to frustrating control issues and limited types of attacks you can perform.

Summary Rock'em Sock'em Robots Arena gives you the power to rip off your opponent's body parts and attach them to yourself. Turn the enemy into rubbish with their own weapons or save the parts you collect for future victims. The more win, the more powerful you become. You're not just competing for pride and honor, you're fighting for limbs!
