Beautiful and pleasant graphics. Very dynamic game play. Constant updates and events.
A good game in its genre. Yes, there are not so many people, but everyone is friendly.
I don't understand people who complain about the amount of time that needs to be devoted to farming. What did you expect from the MMO? In my opinion, any game in this genre is an endless farm. Developers are already constantly holding events where you can easily get equipment from new raids. And even just by raising the levels, you can get raid equipment for nothing.
Exactly what I was looking for.
Pros:
Good anime graphics.
Nice and friendly community.
Its not p2w.
Its free to play.
Enough in-game activities to keep your interest.
Even if it has 6 characters, the fashion items are more than enough to make you look unique.
Support solved almost every one of my problem and they reply fast.
Many events taking place, and pretty nice rewards.
Cons:
Still has some bugs although they are being fixed.
Premium shop prices are very high.
*(mmorpg generally speaking)It has gender lock, and only 6 characters.
*Energy system. Those who enjoy spending a lot of time playing will be disapointed.
*PvE focus. While it has a nice PvE element, the PvP is still limited.
*Characters class is mainly to inflict damage.Apart from Stella, all other characters are focused on **** other words, its not like other mmorpgs which you have to do specific things or have a ''position'' in battle. Here you need skill to dodge, fight head on,clever use of skills and akashas.
I put a * in the cons cause its not exactly cons. Some people might prefer these things.Like me for example,I prefer the energy system, because I dont have much time to spent, and sometimes the energy provided is enough. This also limits others who spent much time on games,so I can catch up fast.
Overall this is my favorite Mmorpg and I would recommend it to any anime-fan out there.Even those who dont watch anime will find this attractive and new.
This game is a solid 10/10. Transactions and shops in the game are not essential to your overall progress and the community are absolute sweethearts. As aesthetic as it gets.
The games average is ok. Good graphic (one lesser point for a few visible pixels and object penetration), a minimum level of difficult (boss on every level, hard level up, a lot of enemy but always with the same or similar attack, and some are similar to among them), good **** game can be very ripetitive sometimes, and the Premium Shop is ubiquitous since the Beta Version that can be riassumed with only three words: "Pay-to-Win".
Cute but... Pay to Win and Farm to Gamb...
*This concerns the GameForge version of the Game.
If you enjoy farming to be rewarded, Soul Worker is definitely not for you.
To get optimized, you have two choices, be a whale, or waste thousands of hours (at this point of the game it might not be enough).
- Everything in this game is RNG even ranking depends on it at some points, since mobs must not commit specific patterns in order to keep a good timing.
- There are crucial items required to enhance equipment which are not farmable, like strength extension tickets or protects, building new throwaway alt characters is not called farming, it's called breaking the mmo rules (and for the worst, sadly). Most of the time you will make those alt-characters for nothing, without any result, any progression.
- Card system (AR Cards) is the icing on the cake, it is clearly pay to win material, a scam almost as blatant as Fate GO's Gacha Gambling.
*Events in GF's version are most of the time unrewarding and worsen the previous points, unless they screw up with their maintenance, giving unfortunately a decisive advantage to a fraction of malicious players.
+ PvP is fun (but unbalanced).
+ Graphically using Vision Engine, which is a kinda old engine but it does the job for a mid-poly anime game like Soul Worker.
+ Every class is unique and has it's own game-play and story line, the plot isn't great but is not bad either! You might become attached to certain characters!
The protagonists, action rpg style, combat system, skill rotation, voice cast, makes the game fun and smooth to play, unfortunately this is a facade, the issues mentioned at first are too significant in the long term, and you should strongly consider them before getting addicted.
If you feel attracted to the playable characters, consider yourself overall lucky in mmo's, and doesn't care in GameForge's terrible QoS then you might have a good time, otherwise there is no way I can recommend the game.
*6/10 at launch (Feb 2018)
*4/10 currently (Sep 2020)
7/10 for overall KR/JP versions.
Um dos MMO's mais chatos que já joguei.
Pontos positivos:
+Habilidades dos personagens são bem diferentes, embora não pareceu fazer tanta diferença em combate
+Visual bacaninha de anime
Pontos Negativos:
+Bem entediante, as missões são beeeem repetitivas.
+Interface extremamente poluída.
+Queda de taxa de quadros
