Admittedly there aren't many endless falling titles on the App Store at the moment, but this game sets the bar for any others that might follow.
Fun and fast paced, Verticus might not be the deepest game you'll ever play, but it'll certainly put a smile on your face.
If you're a fan of endless runners and want a change of pace, there's plenty of fun to be had in Verticus. Just be ready for a challenge – and due to some perspective frustrations, that challenge may sometimes be an unintentional one.
A respectable first attempt that we hope evolves over time, with new locations, enemies and weapons. Even with its faults, though, this is yet another cool superhero game. Consider giving it a spin.
Verticus is a simple, fast but unattractive "endless falling" game. It can be fun the first time, but it doesn't last long.
While this sort of endless runner formula has been fairly exhausted on iOS devices already, Verticus manages to still stand out as a top notch game thanks to the skydiving freedom of movement and responsive controls.
Once you've completed a single pass in this endless high-score game, your interest will plummet.
