While not as elegant or thought provoking as an adventure title, Stoneship goes for a more appealing quick puzzle style that's fun and easy to jump in to.
Stoneship makes a wonderfully light distraction. It's the kind of game you plan to play for five minutes then realise an hour has passed already.
Cyan Worlds did a great job with this casual made-for-iPhone board game despite leaving out multiplayer.
Stoneship is an intriguing mix of memory gaming, high seas exploration and strategic planning, but its regularly frustrating nature and lack of replay value take the wind out of its sails.
Stoneship can be recommended if you are looking for a light-hearted, polished strategy game that can be quite fun.
