This is the exact type of game Microsoft should be pushing for the Kinect. If you've got one, it's absolutely worth the 800msp price of admission.

Simple, spooky fun but a stumble in the right direction for Kinect. [Apr 2012, p.85]

  1. Other interesting game for Kinect, I think that the first great titles start to appear, this game, or Double Fine Happy Action Theater, Haunt is like a horror film for kids, like the Monster House type, and the gameplay is awesome, the story is really funny and atractive, the graphics are colorful. Obviusly have some problems, but is great watching the simple form that the kids have a funny game. Haunt is a really big entertainment, awesome, easy, and addictive. All the Kinect games need be like Haunt, (ejem- Rise of Nightmares-ejem). Expand

  3. I think it's an enjoyable game. A little short with no replay value. What hurt the game imo (previously had it ranked 8) was the ending, 4 bosses at the same at at a difficulty that is not only incredibly frustrating but annoying to deal with as well. Sort of ruined the game imo. Controls don't always register either. I enjoyed playing it up until the end. Expand
