If you've gathered up a bunch of friends and you're all staring mindlessly at a Kinect-equipped flatscreen, you'll easily be able to squeeze out a few hours of fun and laughs with Hole in the Wall. But not much more than that.

Hole in the Wall is both fun and short. It's initially amusing to see players try to go through ridiculous shapes, but it is a novelty that wears off quickly if you plan to play it for long periods of time (instead of in the advised short bursts).

The concept of Hole in the Wall may seem perfect for Kinect but it absolutely isn't. There are only two game modes and the game seems rushed, not always registering your body as it should. All of this adds up to a game that should be ignored by people who have Kinect.

  1. It's a lot of fun, and only $10. But the makers of this forgot to do any playtesting, so as a team you'll waste a minute after every round re-confirming that you are the correct team playing. Also a few of the shapes are either buggy or impossible. Expand

  2. Terrible game. Bad XBLA connection, and poor gameplay. Will return it soon. One of the few "Don't buys" for the Kinect system, and is absolutely not worth $50. Expand
