  • Summary: Chase places you in the exciting world of Hollywood-movie stunt-car action. In the game, you take the role of Chase Corrada, a young stuntwoman who is starting her promising career as a movie stunt driver. In four unique sets--including a gangster set, a postapocalyptic set, and more--it's up to you to perfect the film's action sequences. You'll drive not only traditional 4-wheeled vehicles but also motorcycles and a 3-wheeled Ramen delivery Tuk-Tuk. You'll have to hit your marks as you attempt jumps, smash through props, and race through the set to please the director. Expand

  1. The best stunt driving game I've played all year. It's challenging, but not to the point where you'll risk losing your sanity.

Not a perfect game, but it does a decent job at what it sets out to do.
  3. Gets the most important element right: it gives gamers a taste of being a stunt driver without losing touch of every game's ultimate goal: high in fun, low in frustration.
  4. Seems like a mere shadow of Stuntman, as it tries to mimic what Stuntman did, but it can’t seem to match it with the visuals or audio.
  5. Very little about the game stands out. The graphics are relatively bland, and there's no real sense of speed while driving. [Fall 2002, p.120]
  6. An unremarkable title that whilst potentially sound in concept (aside from the gratuitous use of a female lead), completely fails to deliver in terms of providing any kind of thrills.
  7. It's so overflowing with contrived gimmicks to (presumably) add to the depth and longevity to the game that its weak core gameplay sticks out like a sore thumb.

Far better than Stuntman ever was though with somewhat dated graphics and sound. It has a curiously high replayabilility factor and has kept me entertained for longer than many more polished games. Expand

Interesting enough, but not really challenging. You have unlimited chances at meeting your goals therefore there's no penalty for being a screw up. Fun for an hour, boring for life. Expand
