  1. Word of advice to the developers: When creating the next installment of this franchise, do what you did with the presentation end of things, and almost completely rip-off Grand Theft Auto, and their gameplay. It'll make this sort of title appeal to almost everyone.
  2. The game is just as dated as the show and it fares just as well with its console competition as the original series would if it debuted on prime time next week.
  3. 60
With all the focus developers put into the presentation of the story, it seems like they forgot to tighten up the actual gameplay element. The end result is a great game for Dukes fans, but nothing more than a mediocre racing title for the rest of us.
  4. 50
It will offer you around five to ten hours of solid gameplay.
  5. 45
The game is little more than an excuse to take a tour through Hazzard County in 3D and drive recklessly. This would almost be appealing, but problems quickly pop up here, there, and, you guessed it, everywhere. The biggest problem is with the General Lee's control and it goes on from there.
  6. The only thing the Dukes game has in common with it is the freeroaming nature of locating missions. Once you do acquire a mission you will find that they are of a make-work nature. The entire game is linear and the sense of freedom is only an illusion.
  7. Don't get us wrong, we love jumping cars and smashing through barn doors, but the game is desperately in need of something else. A little thing called gameplay.

At 1st I was really impressed. The cut scene graphics are excellent. All the classic characters look like their real life counterparts. The story begins a lot like a show would. But the gameplay here is super uninspired. You'd think that considering the goals are so basic, it'd be at least well done. But no, sometimes you'll find yourself unsure of where to go or what to do. There's a guide that points you where to go, but it frequently doesn't work properly. I also dislike how the car handles, which is pretty major. Expand
