Zen Wars' value is largely in its incredibly fun multiplayer mode, so it comes highly recommended when players can gather up a few friends for some retro arcade-inspired strategy gaming. But if this is possible, then Zen Wars is a ton of fun.
If you were a Rampart fan back in the day and have wanted a portable version on the go, nothing else in the App Store even approaches Zen Wars.
Zen Wars is an unusual strategy game with a distinct sense of humour. However, polished graphics and epic soundtrack come with flawed gameplay mechanics and a too short Campaign.
Zen Wars looks good on paper (and on the screen), but it's just not very fun to play.
