Though the title would have you believe you were watching a “futuristic” film involving robots, the truth is, it just feels like a cheesy soap opera or novella.
2050 has a meaningful subject, but is so dialogue-heavy and incident-light that almost the entire film feels like a pitch for the movie Holt didn’t make.
