Haigh is a tremendously lyrical filmmaker, and All of Us Strangers unfolds in a space that seems like a dream, or a hallucination, pulsing with the rippling soul rush of love turning a life from monochrome to full color.

The film seems like it should be this deeply personal exploration of one's own struggle to connect with others because of an inability to fully accept themself, but in practice, "All of Us Strangers" plays more like a sentimental novel you'd find at an airport newsstand. It's made with far more skill and care than those typically are, but at its core, they contain about the same amount of emotional insight.

The film had me captivated by portraying willpower amongst melancholy whilst giving psychological twists alongside these spectrums with beautiful artwork. It is about confiding one's past and therefore finding strength in the present. The romance in this film was also intense and felt genuine. I'm not **** and it was really a value adding element to this film that was quite unexpected for me. This film really nails that aspect and openened my mind for further romantic **** film really had me 2 times that your perspective changes in one instant and you get that you are not watching reality but instead a irrational psychological proces. That had me impressed. All the parties involved, incredible film thank you.

Such an intense and wonderful movie. Andrew Scott is incredible and he delivers a performance that was so overlooked by the award season. Amazing movie!

A couple of intimidating sex scenes. Good and, unfortunately, sad catch on **** people. A little bit of nostalgia, longing for the painful past. The movie's "world is changed, but scars are still there" viewpoint got me good. Adam's conversation with her mother is a well-written powerful scene.

I don’t know why people are pretending to love it. Beyond Andrew Scott’s acting, the rest of it was predictable, caricature-y, boring, lacking in emotion.
