It is infectiously delightful, even if you’re someone who might typically steer clear of chipper, pink-hued flicks. Somehow Gerwig has struck a balance between unhinged whimsy, deep humanity and comedic bliss. It’s funny, it will make you cry and it feels almost like a rebellion.
Gerwig has created a film that takes Barbie, praises its contribution as an idea to our world, but also criticizes its faults, while also making a film that celebrates being a woman and all the difficulties and beauty that includes.

I really enjoyed Barbie it was a really good movie and I love the meme Barbenheimer was the greatest trend And What Was I Made For? really hit me in the heart Billie Eilish nailed it Robbie performance was so good Ryan Gosling Perfect ken And Greta was a good Director She did an amazing On the movie

Everything about Barbie is crafted with both mass appeal and personal insight, much like the doll, resulting in a movie that knows how to please.
Gerwig has crafted a warm, funny and cinematically rich film – if one whose narrative and political ambitions are far less radical than it would like us to suppose.
Whatever you think of “Barbie,” the mere existence of this smart, funny, conceptually playful, sartorially dazzling comic fantasy speaks to the irreverent wit and meta-critical sensibility of its director.
All told, Barbie is a fascinating movie, even if it is occasionally a little frustrating and often more fun to look at than it is laugh-out-loud funny. I think my daughters will probably enjoy it quite a bit — when they watch it when they’re a few years older.
The packaging of “Barbie” is a lot more fun than the tedious toy inside the box.

This movie really didn't click for me as much as it did for others. I just thought it wasn't really funny. Oh well, the performances were really good and at least I wasn't bored.

I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised or have my bias confirmed, but neither happened. What we got was a lot of eye candy (and by that I mean effects as I found none of the Barbies attractive) and a mess of a plot that even failed to be woke, which was the rumor I heard. Ryan Gosling stole the show while Robbie was competent. Michael Cera, while a fun distraction, ultimately had lottleto do. The laughable feminist message just came off as smug and entitled and worked very hard to ot be woke, imo. **** all, it was very disappointing.
