Sometimes it’s impressively funky and stylish, and sometimes tediously derivative.
This should be an intense ride to oblivion or perhaps even a satirical romp chock full of self-indulgent camp, but it proves to be neither.
The overpowering air of familiarity to this rip-off pretending to be homage makes it redundant.
