In Just One Time, sexual fantasy gives way to a consideration of values without being heavy-handed. Janger draws winning performances from everyone.
Audiences will probably be miles ahead of the plot, but may not mind, since the cast bring a committed, lived-in quality to their performances.
Darned if this film doesn't have some nice touches.
This labored farce relies on an unpleasant collection of stereotypes for its comic effects, and Janger is a singularly unappealing leading man.
Works hard at being charming, but comedy is best when it looks effortless.
A smarmy, smirky but ultimately boring film.
An arthritic exercise in self-pleasurement.
