Cho's weapons are a wildly imaginative sense of humor and the courage to be absolutely uninhibited.
A raunchy and frequently hilarious follow-up to the gifted Korean American stand-up's "I'm the One That I Want."
When she unabashedly puts herself in the same category as Richard Pryor (the master of identity politics and cultural reportage), it's not just presumptuous posturing on her part. She's earned her place there.
Raw, irreverent and uncompromising, Cho transforms her life into a form of performance art like no other.
She's funny, she's feisty, she's a flabulous, fat-positive “fag hag,” and Margaret Cho isn't apologizing for any of it.
Despite the raunchy material, her humor is essentially ethnic, tweaking the stereotype of Asian women as shy and dainty.
Despite her healthy fan base, Notorious C.H.O. looks like the dead-end to a limited repertoire.
