Jim Caviezel is a one-man scourge of child predators in this well-meaning thriller that doesn’t entirely deserve to be written off as culture-war propaganda.
Sound of Freedom is the definition of a movie that shows the realistic view of the world's human trafficking, but at the same time a film that shows hope and sadness.
Sound of Freedom is a powerful and unflinching look at the horrifying world of child sex trafficking, It's not an easy watch, but its importance and execution are undeniable. The film doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of the situation, but it does so with a respectful and unwavering focus on the fight for rescue.More than just a gripping narrative, Sound of Freedom is a call to action. It raises awareness about a global epidemic and honors the tireless work of those who fight to save children.
The film is beautifully shot, with a score that perfectly complements the emotional weight of the story. While some might find the content difficult, Sound of Freedom is a must-see for anyone who wants to be informed, moved, and ignited to make a difference. It's a powerful testament to the human spirit's unwavering courage in the face of unimaginable darkness.
Ignore The hate and The haters And the theories are not true because in real life no one is not going to stop This It should be illegal all over the nation we need to stophuman trafficking and child trafficking for a better future ! #makechildtraffickingillegal
The picture, by Mexican director Alejandro Monteverde, is an earnest and well-intentioned attempt to engage with a very real and harrowing issue. It’s also a thunderously crass and manipulative movie that is hampered by erratic pacing, pantomime bad guys and an overfondness for shots of Caviezel weeping God-fearing, manly tears.
It’s hard to tell if this movie avoids any conventionally exciting set pieces out of scrupulousness or just lack of inspiration. Oddly, the picture’s muted tone ultimately undercuts its solemn sense of mission.
This movie simply put a light on the savage humans became
It’s not for reviewing or Criticism it’s just a message I hope everyone hears it
I hope it’s loud enough for everyone to hear it
Children are not a merchandise
I hope all movies carry a message to show to the people what life we are living and how much ugliness in men and women
An average film production elevated by the subject matter. Some genuinely cringey moments mixed with some more authentic ones but the threat of what is happening never quite penetrated the screen for me. As a parent it really hit home for me!
The topic is top and not popular. I like also that it plays mostly in countries like Honduras and Mexico.
The story has not much action, which I like. But sometimes it is too sentimental for me and some scenes were too unrealistic for me.
Mere days ago, I found myself watching Leni Riefenstahl's infamous **** propaganda movie Triumph of the Will, and while certainly this doesn't wield such blatant coercion, it undeniably carries the echoes of propaganda manipulation. Based on a true story becomes a familiar refrain when it comes to movies as we've come to realize that when narrative cravings beckon, reality's contours may bend to entertain. And if you know a bit about Tim Ballard, who beyond his propagation of Qanon's lies, the same ones spread by the demented Jim Caviezel who plays him, you'll know that he's a guy who allows his donors to participate in the raids in which they are supposedly saving victims of child trafficking, feeding of course the vigilante fantasy that his followers crave and that this same film tries to exploit as if it were a documentary.
You don't know what became of the victims or the criminals, but you know they are fighting ''evil.'' It is the rotten spawn of the egregious Pizzagate nonsense, engineered to poison feeble minds with its toxic rhetoric.
This is the kind of garbage that feeds them because this movie is basically recruitment material, just that.
Brainwashing unsuspecting morons into becoming an army of deranged cultist crusaders and gullible followers blinded by the manipulations of political puppeteers and grifters who are masters of their very thoughts and actions.
Personally, I found it an incompetent and emotionless film, but as I've always said, regardless of the topic, I will never tell anyone what they shouldn't see. It's all up to you.
Not a good movie for several reasons.
First of all, the theme is important? Yes, in deed. We need to talk more about it. However, the way it is aproached here is artificial. Everything revolves around the protagonist. And when the dude is openly unidimentional, you know that's a problem.
The plot lacks depth. There's no reflection about psicological impacts on the children, that only are here to serve the melodrama and give a porpuse to the captain america - ops... I mean.... protagnost.
And what about have some courage and point out how the society and state really sustains it? There's no point other than "Share our movie, guys. This way, all this problem will end". Dude, what?
To be fair, I belive much of the hate this movie is suffering is for the wrong reason. Once more, the polarization make you hold a dumb point and not to fucus on what shoud be reviewed. In this case, this movie - which is objectively bad.
