In a time when so much of what we consume can feel plastic and cheap and mass-produced, it’s the human touch we come to crave — especially when it leads to something as fun as this.
Quippy, zippy, and punchy, this teen-focused take on everyone’s favorite pizza-loving vigilantes is a refreshing reappraisal of a property that could very well have felt stale in 2023.

I am extremely strict and rude, but this one is 11/10. I have nothing to say, this is the spirit of TMNT, this is what me and my homies r grove up! So badass! I was expecting 6/10, but this is so confusing that I am writing this review! This music is so stunning omfg!!! Perfect job, waiting for part 2. Just thank you!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant is a masterpiece.
Out of all the TMNT renditions in the past that came before this magnum opus, it so perfect because teens casted Leo, Mikey, Raph and Donnie. While the other TMNT films had adults voice them. I also think Superfly is a pretty good villain in this film.

This remains a top-notch effort that implicitly pleads for invention and sincerity in family entertainment.
Adopting a decidedly younger spin toward its teenage heroes, the hugely entertaining and funny film seems destined to reinvigorate the franchise and attract plenty of nostalgic adults as well as young fans.
Mutant Mayhem...can’t entirely get over the feeling of trodding over well-covered turtle ground. But if we must go once more into the ooze, the film by director Jeff Rowe (co-director of “The Mitchells vs. the Machines” ) and co-written by co-producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, is probably the best of a not-so-stellar franchise.
The result is a fun, exciting animation that keeps us hooked throughout. Yes, there is the occasional lull in the story, but it doesn’t linger before picking back up with some new story turn or action sequence.
The “Cowabunga” dudes have become “Cowa-boring.”
As a fan who consumes the TMNT franchise assiduously, and having "Rise of the TMNT" as a favorite version, I have to admit that in terms of stylized animation "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" tastes like the style of "Spider-Man Across the SpiderVerse” and takes the formula to another level, remembering that it can vary according to personal taste. But I particularly loved the style, visuals, models, texture and super beautiful animation! And I have nothing to complain about the scribbled style of the film, for me the point in question is very positive.
Even so, the film is weaker in script than “Spider-Man Across the SpiderVerse” but in no way is it bad, it is a great introduction to the new turtles, and now, it really just needs to expand this super promising universe.
It truly is an AMAZING introduction to this new, and hopefully long, stage of TMNT.

While the art style and characters were mostly well put together, I felt as though there was too much filler in between the important/good scenes of the movie, which is saying something considering this movie goes for only an hour and a half. The worst part of the movie would have to be the ending, and while it was a stellar example of modern art styles, it was so anti-climactic that it hurt. Even with its faults, it starts off solid, continues to be good, and finishes with an absolute mess.

I really, really liked the turtles in this movie. They're so fun and alive and quirky, but every other living thing in this movie falls flat to me. The art style is hard to look at. The character designs make me nauseous, and not because they're creepy in a fun way, but they just look visually unsettling. The plot goes downhill pretty fast too, and I would have preferred we spent more time on the titular characters.
