To say that The Package is one continuous dirty joke with an outrageously absurd premise wouldn’t be an exaggeration. It’s also a funny, sweet, raucous teen comedy that’s by turns ridiculous and raunchy, but thankfully never too profound.
The Package is funnier than any one joke/”dick” joke comedy has any right to be.

The film is essentially one long joke about a dick, with various gags built into that concept, as if it wants to be the movie that says the word “dick” more than any production with roots to the Judd Apatow family tree. It might just be the winner of that designation, or at the very least, it deserves some type of special achievement award.
The entire premise of the movie revolves around a kid cutting his **** off and his friends jumping through hoops to make him whole again. It gets caught up in it's own absurdity a bit and becomes a bit convoluted for its own good but for what it is, it's a good watch and one of the better Netflix original films I've seen to date

Summer teen comedy movie, the plot is essentially one long joke about a ****, it must be getting Guinness World Record for the movie that says the word "****" more than any production.
"The package" is so funny in some moments and silly in others, if you are a fan of **** jokes, this is your movie, If not just skip it.

The Package is a capable, if even funny at times, small cast comedy with a crude, but less than archetypical twist. The young main cast plays a pretty convincing motley bunch of nerds, and the handful of "grownups" they encounter seem pretty well cast too, giving the movie a little more character than it's somewhat cliche summer movie plot would suggest. The writing is good, if on the more vulgar side, but if you didn't get that from the title, you probably won't like this movie. All-in-all: a pretty decent distraction if you need to kill an hour and a half.
